I have no question about the possibility of him being abused or tortured into confession but I dont see anything any individual or even an international organisation can do unless his own country, the singapore or the hong kong government act.
with reports coming out on how the british and americans soldiers abuse the inmates in jail, i don't trust any human rights standards.
I do not know much about the scandinavian countries but generally I feel they are much isolated from migrants of different races and religion which would threaten their way of life (i may be wrong). I can only say I envy them but not all countries are prepared to adopt the same kind of standard, not to mention communists countries like china.
Behind the prosperous shanghai nanjing street there is still the ugly communists, behind the glorious manhattan in new york there remains many hypocrites. We takes what suit us and stay away from the evil.
