Malaysia once got politician exposed as a gay by Prime minister Mahathir.
He was charged in court for sodomy. Then got jailed.
Police chief gave him a black eye........his semen stained matress got a public viewing.......even got video of his perverted acts probably made available by Special Branch. Now convicted gay wants to be the next prime minister if he is pardoned .......he may even succeed.
Singapore got gay politician or not?
Will gay politicians be treated the same way as in Malaysia, and given the same chances to make a come-back? -
The charges against Anwar Ibrahim were trumped up. There is no doubt about them.

Obviously the charges were false, if not why did the opposition supporters (mostly aligned with PAS) stage widespread protests? -

However, politicians who are dropped because of some "wrong doing" would have little chance of making a come back as the PAP set very high standard for their ministers. -
Anwar will not be the next PM. Gay or not gay.
