Areour rights being monitored by any international bodies like UN?

What rights? what's dat? is it edible?

I dun think any foreign bodies are monitoring our rights, or the lack of it...
ironically, the same ppl who believe that its perfectly sensible to control their own pay feel there is no conflict of interest in monitoring our rights and their own abuse (or lack thereof) of our rights. -

Can you remember the guy who beat up his neighbour's irritating dog and caused its death some years back? Rights? What rights? Human Rights? We have that?
I don't think so, but let me tell you what rights we have here;

(3) Basic personal rights e.g. freedom of speech without being sued for defamation.
(4) Right to observance of Rule of law, fairness and equity in enforcement of election or constitutional rights of citizens.(ministers getting within boundary of election booths not even regarded as an offence)
(5) Rights to seek protection by an independent constitution sub-court open to observers from UN agencies for matters relating to political participation by citizens.
(6) Right to seek protection by an independent constitution sub-court against conflict of interest among the executives - e.g. self-approved bonuses or highest salaries (equated inequitably to the highest private sector) and life-long annuities (S$1,000 million) to 3-term MP/Ministers/Political Office holders.
(7) Safeguard against prosecution of political opponents e.g. speeches made during election campaigns. -
