police got carried away as if they are the king, actually they r good for nothing, they can only bully the helpless but not the criminals, there was a time i reported the loss of money which was stolen by my roommate, but the police shouted at me, saying no evidence i cant put a blame on others. well next time if i see robbery, i will pretend not to see it and i definitely wont be a witness. I still can remember the police shouted at me and use the F... word, very rude for singapore police force, no courteoucy, how to respect them man.Originally posted by lwflee:Watch this video. Do you think this constitutes police brutality?
Imo, yes. I felt he was all too ready to deploy the taser. Not once, but twice. He acted similar to the cop in 'Meet the Fockers' - "Weaver Stance!"
Perhaps he is overcompensating for something...

can't imagine that the image of singapore is that bad
well tell that to Mr.Dank, it seems that foreigners who have never been to Singapore think that there are no rights in SingaporeOriginally posted by the Bear:you don't get done for littering that badly!
sheesh!
only if you hurl a sofabed from the 10th floor.. then you're in for reckless endangerment... which, to me, deserves a good whipping
by the way.. we cut off people's tongues for chewing gum

perhaps we need to change the image, first by refusing the cinema operators to search our bags![]()
den good what can ask you for 4D numbers next timeOriginally posted by the Bear:i'm all for cinema operators searching bags actually....
i don't want some maniac leaving a bomb in a cinema and killing me while i'm trying to watch a movie
i am quite sure they were not searching for such dangerous stuff and they are definitely not trained to do so, besides the hefty movie ticket price will make a terrorist think twice before striking a cinemaOriginally posted by the Bear:i'm all for cinema operators searching bags actually....

you say police using F word. public can use f word. civil servants or enforcement officers cannot even use words close to F word. are you sure you did not heard wrong?Originally posted by t_a_s:i reported the loss of money which was stolen by my roommate, but the police shouted at me, saying no evidence i cant put a blame on others. well next time if i see robbery, i will pretend not to see it and i definitely wont be a witness.
