The taxi hit a parked car but drove off.
I took the registration number of the taxi and left a note on the car that was hit. But I forgot the colour of the taxi and was not able to tell which taxi company the taxi belong to. -

But too bad I can't remember the colour of the taxi, else can tell the owner of the car that was hit too in the note.
As it is hit and run case, think should write a letter to the taxi company to complain also. -

But your need to give your contact number to complete your information.
My brother's car was found hit by a car which he parked at Boat Quay.
Someone left a note with the car number and my brother reported the matter.
But when the Traffic Police called my brother up, they said that they need the witness in person to sustain the information and case, as no one knows who wrote the paper. They do not want a case where someone else number plate is given to frame another driver up.
And also....The farker driver denied knocking into my brother's car when Traffic Police called him up.
In the end we pay for our own damage.
In your case, I dun think the taxi driver can deny, bcoz taxi repairs are controlled in Spore, and other taxi drivers will tell when they saw damages on other taxi...

I think the roads are over-populated with taxis, they're getting so unethical. I got on a cab the other day and the meter was already running at $3.20!
