Ode to nosy reporters

Why do reporters target certain blogs and report on them? Because there are no leaked government documents for them to pore over. This is Singapore's TNP, not Britain's Daily Mirror, for Christ's sake. I'm very sure the Mirror has better things to report on.

Straits Times reports the same news, TNP does the same thing but gets more juicy details to pique the readers' interest.

You're either a blind reader or a TNP diehard. Like you said Economists are for facts the way new york times is for you.
And to add one more thing, their sports section is filled with cut and pastes from reuters, particular with soccer articles. Not a single line is written by their journalists.
Hardly newspaper-worthy material. Why dun you go check their soccer write-ups and compare them with any website...say soccernet?

then again, i guess if world of sports or soccernet covers our local scene, TNP'll probably copy and paste too....
