China Woman Charged for Misleading ICA

All you brudders read that in the papers about this China gal 37 years old arrested outside Geylang Hotel?
I read it and walau lor... ICA ppl got no brain one meh? Logically why would a 37 year old woman come all the way here to learn English?
The only defence she has is that she is getting paid to learn English in Geylang but so far the only Vocab she learnt is "How much?", "Where" and "take off your clothes".

I think its time for an island wide crack down. Too many of them on student passes, social visit passes and whatever passes you have, most of them are working in Geylang, KTV night clubs or Health Ctr.
ICA and SPF should come out with a reward system for tips! Maybe $88 for one tip off... Man, I will quit my boring job now and start dialling in!!! -

There is a difference between offering a service and committing a crime. These PRC women are here either on social visits or student passes. Hence working in night clubs or as prostitutes without a valid work permit is against the law. This applies regardless of the situation or filling the needs of single men. -

There is no justification for banning student visas or social passes from PRC based on a minority set of incidents like this. Singapore will receive an outcry from the Chinese Ambassador.
We just have to deal with it. Period. -

PRC is trouble in all over the world. They come here open leg in public. So...... what happen ? They are ban all over the world ! That the problem !

Actually a very easy solutions can solve the problem.
Issue Prostitute permit to work in Singapore. There are General Domestic Permit, Worker Permit, "P" pass .... why on a "Pro" permit?
MOM can tax them very high like $2000~4000 a month. Permit can have a very short terms, like 3 months. They must pass the health test & "skill" test.
Good points: More $ comes into help Singapore, Sex health is more controlled, Lesser social problems, New faces for customer = more $ for Singapore, Lesser work for police to catch those without permits, Other options of permit is not abused .....
Bad points: it's a bad name for Singapore, but equally bad if social problems with PRC without proper permit working as Prostitutes or husband snatching family breaking women.
I believe if there is a option open for people, they will not take the risk of being caught & unprotected.
