Moderating forum posting while calling it unmoderated

I am happy to come to this site because I read its caption on the forum that it is an unmoderated forum.
Upon entering the forum, I am surprised to see that some postings are awaiting approval to appear in print.
In this day and age, information is available everywhere and coming from everyone, right or wrong worthy or not is another matter. Adults should be mature to make up their minds whether to read or believe in them.
People accept them with whatever their worthiness of any information.
If CNA wants to provide regional news and reach out to more people, it should review its current policy and not try to control information flow such as approving of any posting. Let people post naturally and there will be greater depths and maturity and there will be originality and creativity.
I think it is necessary for CNA to follow what the great station like CNN or BBC are doing. So I hope it will not be influenced by the government into editing or controlling information and allow this post to appear without deletion.
Singaporeans so far cannot come out of their cocoon and make international impacts in science, technology and many human enddeavours because of controls established to serve limited political agendas of those in charge.
Such control-oriented news will not do good for Singapore in the long run although in the short run, the governance tasks are more stable and tolerable.
I recommend that there is no need to approve postings and please warn people with proper advice that they should observe netiquette instead of resorting to moderating information calling it unmoderated. What a contradiction in terms!!!

even unimportant topics are sometimes being moderated.

Forumers,
Your guess is as good as mine. The above-mentioned post under "Community" "What is wrong with Singapore" of Channel News Asia was deleted.

CNA is like this 1.

CNA forum is only a forum , if you subscribe to their point of view, then again , why go to a forum when you share the same view as them?

Ya it will be a copy of our original kiasu knowing about its own devices, window dressing, looking good all about itself.
It will lack its own true character or objective treatments of news and information based on people. It will not grow ntellectually truly catering to people.
