It was reported that the police, for all its duties as a protector of Singaporeans from crimes, paid a visit to CSJ's book launch and seized a video showing images of HK protestors demonstrating against Tung.
I'm not a supporter of CJS but I am "floored, flabbergasted...". Isn't the chief duty of the police to protect the public from criminal elements??????
Instead of solving crimes like the case of the woman who was raped at Bukit Batok and battered to death during Chinese New Year few years back, it's acting as the PAP's guard dog and dabbling in all this.
And I wonder how it knew that CSJ was going to screen that video...
Seems like despite all the Son's talk about liberalising, PAP politicians are still a bunch of authoritarian pricks.
Plus ca change, plus ca la meme.
