NKF's administration brought to public scrutiny

Another case that requires PUBLIC SCRUITINY, I always wonder why is there such a high administrative cost when they have a charity show.
Try to imagine, at $5.80 per call, of which $0.80 goes to administrative, that is 13% of the entire per call charge. Last I heard of, the calls for NKF cancer was around 500,000 calls, which means administrative cost is $400,000. Does it requires $400,000 to administer a 3hrs show? Does the server or telephony requires so much cost? Shouldn't the server lifespan long enough to handle such show since it runs such events several times a year? For telco, they probably cover the costs already.
Now, imagine the CEO of NKF gettiing 12 months Bonus!!!! Incredible, I cannot imagine such big sum can save how many kidney patients and now the cancer also under their drive as a way to get more money from the public.
I urge NKF to be transparent in detailing what they have been doing especially using the money from the public.

Haha. to throw such a big show is part of the promotional budget, I would like to find out how many millions of advertising budget they have to get such charity drive....

What else can it be, when there are so many private enterprises that has seed money for it basic working capital to start the company ?
Whatever it is - whether Government owned or linked, or even if it is 100% Private - it is another public funds soaker that soaks up the hard earned money by playing on the psychological weakness of charitable Singaporeans, by appealing to their conscience and generosity to help the weak.
Where is the Government's responsibility in the first place ?
With all the funds that they have built up into the Singapore National Reserves, and all the CASH reserves of all the Government Linked Corporations (GLCs), even a ONE PERCENT contribution from all GLCs will exceed that contributed by 500,000 phone calls from one Sunday evening.
This ONE PERCENT contribution from all GLCs will go a long way to help subsidise, or fully pay for all, the huge medical bills of the low and middle income families with children and adults suffering from cancer, kidney failures, heart failures, strokes, AIDS, and any mysterious diseases.
This ONE PERCENT will boost the amount allocated in the Annual Government Budget for Health, and will go a very long way to lower medical costs to ALL Singaporeans.
