Today, NKF issued a statement that they are standing by T.T. Durai, saying they know what a "great leader he is".
Now now, that is after we found out:
1. NKF spent $960 on a toilet bowl out of public donated money;
2. T.T. Durai denying he travels 1st class and even suing 2 people for that although he DID travel 1st class;
3. Richard Yong issuing an egregious claim to the public that none of NKF's staff travel first class;
4. NKF Director Gerard Chuah issuing inflating the no. of NKF patients by 1000 to exaggerate the claim of NKF's expenses;
5. Richard Yong using the worst case scenerio to exaggerate to the public that its $180m can only last 3 years;
6. T.T. Durai's arrogance in court when asked if the public has a right to know what he is getting;
7. T.T. Durai's 12 months' bonus when 90% of us who donated money only got 0.5-2 months and considering that many of us donated even during the SARs year!!!
8. NKF's $21 million building paid for by 5 people when NKF could have said, "Look, we don't need a $21m building. Give us $5 million and we spend the $16m on patients."
9. T.T.Durai's bathroom mixer in his office.
10. NKF's refusal to release directors' remunerations despite protests from the public, the same people who donate money to them.
I just received the annual report of A.V. Jennings. The director of Jennings, an australian home furnishing and land developing firm with a yearly-appreciating stock value earns $400k. In australian terms, that's about 600k but don't forget that they pay about 30% tax.
SO WHAT MAKES NKF DIRECTORS THINK THEY DESERVE THE ASTRONOMICAL BONUS WHEN THEIR PRIMARY SOURCE OF INCOME IS FROM PUBLIC DONATIONS??
Please, all your forumites, petition for the removal of Richard Yong, Gerard Chuah and T.T. Durai by writing to either of the following:
