NKF reveals corrupt govt mentality?

Instead of acknowledging the mistakes uncovered, the NKF's patron, Mrs. Goh took the inquiry into NKF as an "attack" on the organization, she said "to question NKF's transparency was a fuss", the salary of "$600,000 is peanuts".
As wife of former PM of singapore, are her opinion representative of that of the government, or some senior government officials?
How could she continue to have "complete trust in the NKF and Mr. Durai" who has clearly lied about flying first class and how long the reserves could last.
If NKF, with the PM's wife as patron can be corrupted as such, how can we be sure that there is a self-check mechanism in our government to ensure that our national reserves are not abused, the ministers salaries are not considered "peanut" to justify for further increases, our call for transparency in all government organisations are not considered a "fuss", and inquiry into government affairs not "attack" on the government??? -
Even if mrs Goh is at fault , they will also make Durai a scapegoat..

Of Course S$600,000 is peanuts to her.
If you can recall, the father, the son and the holy Goh (husband) used to calm Singaporeans during anxious moments by bragging that the Government has plenty of resources (money).
If the gang of three is accustomed to approving billions of our reserves (including CPF moneys) for foreign investments what is S$600,000 ?
So you see, we the money contributors to Government can only see the tiny tip of the iceberg.
Unless GIC (Government Investment Co) open up all it's book for Singaporeans to see, we will forever remain ignorant and speculative!
Unfortunately, GIC has refused to do that siting security as an excuse.
I dont think that is a good reason for keeping secret any national financial information especially when our moneys are also involved. It wont happen in any other democratic countries anyway! -

I looked at the New Paper this morning
Was disgusted at Mrs Goh's reply.
Its not just abt how much $600,000 is worth to her.
NKF is suing SPH for damages although SPH was right abt NKF's dishonesty. Not forgetting there is much public outbursts about how much of their money has been channelled towards the CEO's pocket and other luxurious stuff its management enjoy at the expense of the public
She defends NKF by saying its allright for NKF to demand retraction of the defamatory article, and that was after all the dirt been dug out, its been proven the articles was not defamatory and that NKF had to retract their lawsuits.
Is she still oblivious to NKF's wrongdoings?
And she blames SPH for doing all these, because besides pursuing the case, SPH also broaden the case to issues surrounding NKF's transparency. Meaning she blames SPH for making mountain out of molehills.
Again, is she implying, that nobody has the right to question any corporation that has misconduct itself badly? -
