Feeling sad for school kids

Everytime I pass by some school, I will feel sad the tremendous pressures they face in school and can they do well when they left school.
How can you expect them to accept lower pay when country standard of living increase yearly?
And how many can be top professionals and entrepreneurs to fulfil the singapore dream?
Remember singapore is not welfare state, if we do not gel as a society how far can we go
Can you blame the young for thinking of emigration as a attractive option when we do little to protect them? -
Indeed, the future will belong to those academically at the top or those with connections to the rich and powerful governing elites.
It is who you know and what you know that counts in our land. So even those with good grades might eventually be sidelined by relationships and connections.
All the hardworks and studies aside, all the students must try to belong the the powerful connected networks and it is only after they belong to this exclusive group, they will then have any future. Those who are not so lucky will be entirely at the mercy of the dwindling job markets for which the government seems to be unable to do anything.
Look at all the recent happenings, the practices remain the same. The old government policies remain mostly the same. Nothing is going to change to give better prospect to all and the young who are now studying so hard. -
