Fcuking hell!!! All along I thought NKF patients are getting reasonable subsidy; due the fact all $$$ are from we donors. The truth now is the patients are getting only about 20% or less subsidy and the remaining, the patients got to fork out from their own pockets with 5% FREAKING GST!!!!!!!!!!! Blood sucking gov...really freaking.......... -

From what I "See & Hear":
If non-regular who died on training, SAF pays <$10,000. That's all.
If regular who died on training, SAF pays the salary until the end of contract minus off all other allowance plus some amount >$20,000 I think.
or
If non-regular who injuried on training, SAF pays salary & medical & some $ & you sleep at home (M.C.). That's all.
If regular who injuried on training, SAF pays the salary & medical & a lot of $ & you sleep at home (M.C.) minus off all other allowance plus some amount plus $20,000.
My same camp told me, he injuried both Knee Cap. Go for operations to install stainless steel knee cap. SAF pays for all operations, medical, M.C. & NS men salary. Then after everything ok he comes back to serve the rest of his NS terms. He was paid ONLY "SG$2000" for sustaining that 2 spoil knees. Yes "SG$1000" for 1 knee. After ROD, straight away he went out of Singapore. -
