I wonder if there has been the same belief among the ministers that their salaries or bonuses should be a percentage of our national revenues or budget surpluses as has been tacitly assumed by the NKF board that resulted in all the problems which finally led to their court expose by Davinder.
Do our ministers believe like the NKF that the reserve and surpluses are attributable to their abilities or talents. Apparently they have been using our monies as collected as measures of their talents? The private sector believes that only those who brought in business are entitled to super bonuses or million-dollar salaries.
Is the NKF case a copy of the original or the ministers' bonuses original to the NKF copy?
Why you post the obvious?
NKF is taking a leaf from the ways set forth by the highest authority, and following closely the model and using it as bench mark.
Dismiss the notion that NKF is a VWO. Dismiss the notion that Government is to govern. Treat every Department / outfit as a Business Centre (Profit Centre) then you are near there.
Dismiss the notion that NKF is collecting donations from the public. Dismiss the notion that Government is collecting taxes from the public. Whatever collected is termed as turn-over. Whatever reserves accumulated is the KPI.
Ministers pay are never bench mark with the peers (Ministers of other Governments) but with private sector companies. The mentality is you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. And $600,000 is peanuts to those in the highest authority. That is why you have monkey suing SPCA.
