Schools Ought to Enforce Stricter Discipline.

Are u sure the school scenario is worst than the 80s and 90s? In the 90s we also had such trend. I dont see school kids now as being more ruggard than the 90s. Challenging the teacher to a duel was also around in the 90s. Worst at the tme we had SS culture also. Now i do see school kids who look more decent at the most wannabes of what u see back in the 90s. If u all can remmber that time sec chool students like to wayang tuck out shirt, organise gang fight. Now i dont see students doing it. There are ot of them in my HDB estate. They cant even hold a candle to those 90s schoolkids lah all like a kuniang......

Parents have taken away all power to discipline from the schools and now you want the schools to enforce stricter discipline? Nowadays parents seem to think they know more than teachers and show no respect for them at all. How can you expect the students to respect their teachers?
Parents too busy to discipline their children? yang3 bu4 jiao1, fu4 zhi1 guo4...

I do not really support corporal punishment though.
Edit: The army system might work though. Not strictly corporal punishment, but works pretty well. Imagine the scrawny, pimply 14 year old mob boss having to choose between leopard crawling 100m and shutting up. Or DB. I think he would shut up. I bet he would rather do his quadratic equations too.
