  True.But only the ignorant in the world will look down on nomads.Take for example Pico Iyer.He is Indian, but he chooses to live in California and Tokyo and shuttles back and forth these two places.People are jealous of those who can survive in more than one country, they look on with envy at those of us who do not need to be tied to the apron strings to some overly paternalistic government who thinks citizens should serve the nation and not vice versa.
  
  I am proud of my nation but I have deep misgivings about her establishment.So leave those who are global alone.Don't let sour grapes knock you dead drunk.

  it's the people that make up a place.
  For Singaporeans, as much as it's the people that make up the place, a lot of it's gotta do with the food too. I don't think we can say very much about landmarks.
  It's good to have Global mobility and indeed we cannot look down upon those who are have the opportunity to be globally mobile.
  
  BUT we should not forget our nation. BUt instead, use what we have learnt overseas to serve people our nation. That said, what we learnt cannot always just adopt things and use them wholesale.
  
  And just for the record, no. i will not abandon Singapore for the 'Greener pastures' abroad despite me being away, for the time being.
