How to lower the expensive civil service costs

It is easy if government sincerely wants to reduce civil service costs.

The following are practical solutions :-
(servants know the answers not necessary to employ so many expensive world-class takents to head civil service)

(1) To cut back the numbers (4 mayors for a small island when Shanghai and Taipei which are large cities have only one)

(2) Outsource non-sensitive and non-essential services to the private sectors within Singapore to save immediately 66% of present costs.

(3) Attain coordination and practical knowledge application by all workers at all level as posted at:

well, heck.. you wanna know?

don't look at the people, the working hacks.. don't try to cut them down...

look at the top brass.. and their stupid projects...

most just waste a lot of money and make the working hacks work even harder for no result, or worse, makes everyone's lives more difficult...

case in point: forcing the issue of "cashless" when in the end, we just installed way too many machines which is in no way any more efficient than handling cash.. and the machines need to be maintained by vendors who will gouge whatever organisation..

there are way too many pet projects which do the same or worse.. all you gotta do is to ask any civil servant working hack, and you'll know...

how to lower the costs? take the top brass to task.. they're too teflon-coated for way too long...

Take away the MNCs, Banks, GLCs, and Government's part of GDP, the domestic or people sector of the economy is very very bearish right now.

Look at the neighbourhood shops, the JTC factories, the sliding COEs and the half-dead property market (dropped 35 % from previous peak) and you will know whether the economy is growing by 3-4.5% this year.

All the statistics and figures are connived to show good reports to justify continuing past policies which are essentially to keep our elites employed at highest pay, like the NKF case.

One way to save our tax payers' money is to check on the amount of bonus given to top civil servants!

I know for a fact that they are getting about 12-months bonus for the past few years! Transparency is really lacking in this matter! Just imagine if the ministers were to initiate a pay cut like previously before... Many would have thought that they really got lower pay for themselves but they could be getting the same or more if they gave themselves more bonus right?

How do you think Durai got his 12-month bonus? He must have used some form of gauge to ask for something as insane as 12-months for his bonus!
