Is NS no.1 killer of everything in SG?

Well without NS, everything else ( outside forces ) can and may be the killer of everything in SG. Come on lah, ICT is at most 3 to 4 weeks a year, will that really affect sex life?

Number one : killer of Working opportunities, Killer of studying while working, Try coping with studies while working and having to bring your exams studies into camp for 2 to 3 weeks. Missing 2 to 3 weeks of lectures .(private schooling).
Most Private exams are Quarterly basis and Modules based. So ICT lands in any quarter bound to affect one quarter of exams and studies.
These are the losses NS can never compensate us. -

Sometimes it's not only about the (outside) force. And NS alone cannot 'kill' u, but only 'soften' u, they make u more obedient by installing the "do or die don't ask why" program in your brain.
The no. 1 killer in Sg maybe job/ career. No money, no honey, where got babies?
*It is A combination of ALL that is 'killing' us... education, housing, children, job especially, NS, IPPT /IPPT retraining + ICT + recalls, medical fee, bills, expenses etc etc... list goes on.
That's why so many Single 30+ in Sg... these people are "killed" or "dying" off. Have u hear of 'slow cooking the frogs' story?
Only those who got more money, can have babies and survive. The rest are waiting for extinction or replacements by import of INSTANT talents, PRs and families from China & india(whom are still in the dark).
Isn't this a great strategy 4 short-cut to economic improvement, save time & money, correct or not? -
i look forward to the day when i can ive up my sg citizenship without having to go for any reservist or pay the dynasty any more money.

Wah... have we all forgotten the famous chinese saying " The country comes first, then the home" and "When the lips are gone, the teeth will be cold"?
We are a small nation and I think the past 40 years of peace has made us complacent. Threat is ever present, and we as citizens should be involved in the defence of our country.
Going for ICTs is like sending your car for a servicing. Can you imagine driving 100,000km on your car with no servicing?
In making this post, I am not supporting the ruling party or the Govt. I think when the enemy arrives on our shores, he will not be bothered whether you are PAP, SDP or Worker's Party, you will still be exterminated for their cause.
It will take an outside force more greater than any we have seen to make us come together as one. To that, I have to add that I am really hoping for the day something really bad happens to the world and we will see 1st world and 3rd world countries abandoning their beliefs, coming together to fight.
