U-turn sydrome?

  What a hypocrisy to say that growing income gap is a world-wide trend that cannot be reversed as claimed by PM Lee in his ND message.
  
  Why assume it is such a insurmountable problem if you intend to solve it. If you intend to solve it, you must be totally committed and not signal to your MTI, EDB, MOM or MCSY that there is limits to what they can do or say it is such a world problem.
  
  This kind of mentality is what Sim Wong Hoo call "U-turn syndrome" which may be politically shrewd but actually double-talk so that non-performance can be easily excused by making U-turn or escape route that can easily be taken.
  
  Real leadership must take major problems like structural unemployment (if indeed there is such) into strike and not excuse any Ministers with such talks. Singapore great leaders should go all out to solve them without all the complex double talke or "U-turn syndrome".

  Of course he will say that. How else to justify the high pay of the elites?
  
  He considers himself the lion that leads a whole bunch of monkeys. He gets the lion's share, we get peanuts..

  There is no end to greed as can be seen in NKF case. S$600,000 of charity donation monies was dismissed as peanut. If not for NKF the peanut might well grow to be a S$6,000,000 peanut with multi-million charity share options walnut thrown in for good measure.

  Once you are accepted into the inner circle, you can start to collect the monies thru MP pays, Ministers pay and when you leave the inner circle, you collect them thru CEO pays, director pays chairman pays in GLC, Temasek, PSA, NTUC comfort etc etc etc.
  
  There is not enough way to feed their greed
