What is the purpose of the ERP carparking system?

  This system has been erected recently.. can anyone please explain about what is this actually for..? It's been affecting the shop owners and hawkers business which drop tremendously due to the system as drivers avoid to pay the price to park their cars at the carpark..

  Actually, i think using the ERP system in carparks results in more convenience and efficiency.
  
  The ERP system, on the other hand, is just another way of reducing traffic flow. Its also, of course, the govt's very own golden goose.

  Its all because we are moving towards a cashless society. ERP reduces the need for carpark operators to always go to the bank for coins. It is also fairer to the drivers, provided the ERP system calculates the parking costs by per minute block.

  ever since the system started... business drop till kns. So it means tt it is worth these ppl sacrificing jus to decrease the traffic flow..?
  issit only charging only when it's necessary? or issit another excuse to suck the ppl's money?
