Who dares to write in to Straits Times forum seeking explanation of why 40 policemen were needed to disperse the 4 unarmed people infront of CPF building during lunch time on 11th Aug?
This is real concrete action.
If ST don't publish your article, the author can write to Malaysian newspapers, Times, Newsweek magazines, BBC, whatever.
I got no balls so I don't write.

1) 4 policemen were walking past there at that time.
2) 20 policemen were in their patrol cars in the vincinity.
3) 10 policemen were stationed in the nearby DBS building as part of Anti-Terroism task force.
4) 6 heard the call when they are on the way to Istana for change of guards.
And they all received the broadcast to go to CPF Building, and they all made a detour. -
And it does happen quite often, I have seen patrol cars arriving at the scene of an accident and drive off upon seeing another colleague already attending to the scene.
I think the 1st group of policemen did not radio back to HQ and informed that they have already reached the scene. -
Singaporeans living abroad can help.Maybe inform the news networks like CNN and Foxnews. What news swhich dont get pulblished here will get publihed overseas reaching a wider audience. This is the trump card

If 1st attending officer arrive scene. The patrol car closet to 1st officer district/area should cover 1st officer sector also.
