  Seriously, I dun understand why they wanna get valuers...
  
  Govt smart, valuers say valued @ $1M... They pay you $600K, then you appeal you get abt $900K or so then happy happy..
  
  If you dun, they usualy pay you higher...
  
  Why? Because it is stated the pte sector value at this price, so they dun see any pt of compensating you higher

  HDB's shop rental revision valuations have caused so many shops to close. If HDB method of valuing high based on highest in the same or the nearby locality called comparison method is used by LTA all these Hock Kee shopkeepers will be more fairly compensated.
  
  Trouble is : Government has the power to do as it likes adopting only the method that is to their advantage. Professional valuers are not able to do anything except to take instructions or follow policies set by LTA.

  not every businessman is rich. imagine some of them slave all their life then put their life saving and that of their relatives into starting a bus. suddenly they are told to move out. lost everything. is it fair.
