Malaysia's insistance of wanting to site its CIQ in Singapore has made many strategists to think that Malaysia has some wildest dreams to take Singapore through military means. Most have predicted that the railway tunnel will not be a reality at all especially when it is a KTM project as Keretaapi Tanah Malaysia has never made any profit through its years of operation, so where and how to get its funding to build and maintain a tunnel to bring its trains to Singapore? Dr. M may have big ambitions of most mega projects in Malaysia, but the days of superbulls in CLOB or KLSE were history! Without CLOB of Malaysian shares, there are no more rich and gambling addicted Singaporeans helping to fund those dream projects of the 1990s through those CLOB counters! It may be once 'bitten' twice shy, let alone the worldwide economic downturn, and where are they going to get those billions to build a dream tunnel to connect Singapore?
At least they are more down to earth to just satisfy with the CIQ going to be sited back in their own soil than to insist that it has the right to build it in Singapore, or Malaysia may be the only country in the world to have its CIQ sited in a foreign country!
Singapore will have one security threat down but after that what? are they going to demolish the causeway after building a bridge? How about those water pipes? Are they going to build more viaducts specially for those lifelines to Singapore thus making the Strait of Johor more messy!?
Looks like the "deal" with Singapore may have to re-negotiate if DR M changes his mind again!
HAhaha then those malaysais will have to dig thru their own shit to get to us........ Wahahahaha.
