Malay as a first language

  While we're all engrossed in the "tudung" issue, perhaps we could reflect on other education matters that affect our daily lives.
  
  We're all aware that for O levels, those students who take chinese as a first language and pass it get an automatic 2 points deducted from their raw score.
  
  I would like to inquire, is there any such similarity for Malay as a first language?

  yes. same for higher tamil.
  and all 3 languages taken at higher level for O's and pass, need not do at A levels.
