It surprises me that these "foreign talents" who are invited here to study are usually from India or China... *coughs* 3rd world countries..
All that talk about making Singapore a "global" education hub... did they mean China-man education hub?
A "global" education hub should live up to its name and be truly global. Not one that just splurges indiscriminately on third world countries rejects. Or maybe they do know afterall, that if they try to invite an American, British or Australian these people will probably show our gahmen the middle finger? -

even if they get in, if it is true the foreign lecturers speak half-past-six English which is not clearly understood by students, then wats the point to study here. some foreign students got fellow countrymen lecturers to help, our children got who to turn to? they will be disadvantaged! kek sim, so many people in my family pay income tax for such ****.

The Education Industry is a commercial industry by itself now.
Look at UK n Aust unis. making so much money from foreigners.
Its also a good place to find talents and make them stay.
Jus like how Asian phd students stay on working in UK and US.
Of cos that is not to say i agree in the programmes in its entirety.
