  Fake campaign if it is not from the heart !!! If the police cannot even tolerate a WHITE ELEPHANT put up outside an new white-colored unused building, and want to send somebody to wear one more yellow ribbon, how the hell will they ever put up with any old yellow ribbon.
  
  After what the populations have put up with - all the fakes and bull - all campaign will sound hollow now. Nothing other than those truly from the heart will make Singapore beleive them any more. This lesson no. 1 of humanity sadly our self-proclaiimed greatest foresightful leader of the century so far cannot see.

  Sometimes I wonder if the people running the show are really that detached from reality to see that the population is so sick and tired of this fraud and wayang.

  The intention was there lar, but there wasent enough heart in the execution.
  
  I'm sure there are some sectors of government or the civil service where the ex-prison inmates are able to work in. There is really no government leadership by example here.
  
  But at least the YR project generates some awareness of the issue lar. At least can take some baby steps towards improving the situation.

  Gov also encourage u to upgrade through external degree course mah, but all u know if the gov really recognise your hard earned degree cert (esp it is from an external degree programme).

  Yellow ribbon project targets ex prison inmates to find a better life after going through prison life. But government bodies rejects such people. Why bother approaching government bodies? MOM should be looking at such matters. What is MOM doing?
