During the Huang Na case, the lawyer for the accused repeatedly asked to speak to him but the police will not allow it, because the case was hidious and investigation was ongoing.
We have another similar case but this time, the accused is Filipino...see what the Straits Times reported today:
"...Ms Miriam Cuasay, the Philippine labour attache in Singapore, spoke to the suspect. She was accompanied by two officials from the Philippine Embassy here...."
She will get legal aid from the Philippines and I am sure the police will allow her legal counsel this time. What's the difference?

This looks to me like she got the buthering idea from the Kallang incident. Copy cat murder, this is.
Obviously, the murderer must surely HATE the victim like poison, and the victim must have done something awfully wrongful to have been murdered in such a fashion.
