Can we afford to have such a system of government?
While asking people to come forward to participate in political renewal or feedbacks, the newspapers and televisions continue to be closed under licensing laws.
While asking people to give suggestions and feedbacks, ignore them and put up all kinds of look-good policies to overwhelm suggestions relating to NKF. It looks like the NKF case will be closed with everything going back to business as usual.
While telling people that the new administration will build an inclusive society, policies and controls are designed to close intellectual spaces and civic participation in political process - just look at the firmer controls of blogging now taking place using the racist remarks by immature youths to do so.
While asking for more debates on national issues and problems no debates are being conducted on policies (like the 20 major policy errors posted to FU) that produce high costs of doing business or class divisions among citizens.
The above-stated inconsistencies between intentions and practices in the government of the country has first to be resolved with a greater understanding with the educated populations. Is it possible to run a system of "having the cake and eat it" autocracy with the people?
