Nationwide Strike

After reading about the nationwide strike in India, I wondered if this will happen here after so many burning issues with our government that is not really resolved. Behind all the so-called 'help' given out, our people are still struggling to make ends meet. Everything from fares to petrol hikes, nothing is mentioned on increasing our pay. Instead they even squeeze your CPF. Does it really take for us to go hungry before a nationwide strike to take place just like India.

Even the people in China dare to have strikes and demonstrations. Somemore the country is ruled by the Communist Party, supposedly to be undemocratic. The Tiananmen incident, that one really, must salute those demonstrators man. It really takes one courage to fight for what is right.
In 'democratic' Singapore, the people even do not even dare to stand up for what is right. Something must be really wrong man. It is time we must STOP being yes-citizens, and stop the 'this is the pill, just swallow it' nonsense piece of shit. It is only a matter of time, before the people show what is our power. We must rally together, make sure that the government REALLY listens to our voices.

Only registered trade unions are allowed to initiate industrial actions following a secret ballot and in any case, members of essential services are not allowed to strike. I am not advocating a strike here but just look at things happening around our region.Do our people really have a voice or are we 'humanoids' ? Everything is passed through just like that. When do we stand up for ourselves instead of 'STAND UP FOR SINGAPORE' ?

Nothing is impossible, at most difficult only. It all depends up to us, whether we want to make it a reality or not only. Examples of demonstrations & strikes can go on & on, e.g. the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, South Korea, Japan, USA. From developing countries to developed countries somemore. What the hell is wrong with Singapore man?!
Maybe when the next G.E. comes along, if have the chance, do not hesitate already, do not wait already, faster vote the ruling party out. It is time we give the opposition to prove themselves. It's very tiring when Singaporeans vote for the ruling party, & then complain about the stupid policies made, what the hell!!! Macham know the car tyre is already punctured, still choose to continue using it, & then complain the ride is bumpy, ga na sai. -

get people to sign on a book to protest on government (illegal or not) for rise of oil price ect.

If you go on strike, will private companies allow you to do nothing and still pay you? you probably get fired. In government orgn I don't know, may be also get fired.
