I hate Chen Shui Bian, he is a joker, loser and &%^&%*&^. He does not take his presidency seriously. China is a better choice than taiwan, the president cannot control the country and himself properly. All the bullshitting for him
PRC will rule over Taiwan soon one day.
See even Singapore, USA and other countries supported the one China-policy
Down with Taiwan Independence
PS: Sorry for the strong remark and this is my personal opinion
at least they don't censor everything in taiwan, unlike their PRC counterparts.Originally posted by davidmars:yea sometimes the politicians do violent n unreasonable things.. hope the change in electoral system will change the kind of candidates presented to the Taiwanese..

Yes this is the unspoken agreement that I'm sure we have.On the surface, we wil l appear to support China..but any man with a conscience will take up arms against the commie clowns..Originally posted by Salman:We support a one China policy. US is divided on this issue actually. Several politicians have been known to be pro-taiwan rather than China. However, the thing is, US has to openly declare its support for the one china policy, but we all know that they supply weapons to Taiwan too. Its trying to play two-way, but may find itself get burned in the end.Originally posted by kaka_22:US supports the one-china policy........r u sure???
Haiz...Very few people know the real situation about Taiwan and China. Ever since the Democratic Progressive Party(DPP) came into power in the year 2000, everything is going downhill. Taiwan's unemployment rate is soaring. As a result their crime rate is also skyrocketing. Taiwan has been developed far before China can even smell the former's exhaust.
I am living in China right now. If China is an oppressive dictatotorship, why are there so many Americans and other foreigners migrating there to work and live despite the fact that they could be making more $$$ elsewhere? I have met lots of such foreigners in China. Here's an article about a young American lady who has been living in China for over a decade:Originally posted by theditz:Really sad. I believe China is in the midst of an identity crisis. It has searched for something to distract its people from the stark incongruity of its unabashedly capitalist system with its oppressive dictatorship. It has found that in portraying the country as having a grand vision of a united china.
I am not at all surprised. Even in Singapore a country which started modernising a few decades earlier than PRC, there are so many such cases. Here are just a few examples:Originally posted by SingaporeMacross:at least they don't censor everything in taiwan, unlike their PRC counterparts.
Seriously I think we should forget about Taiwan for a while and let us look at more pressing issues like the one in Kashmir. Do u know that Indian security forces are massacring civilians in the thousands over there? Look at these:Originally posted by LazerLordz:Yes this is the unspoken agreement that I'm sure we have.On the surface, we wil l appear to support China..but any man with a conscience will take up arms against the commie clowns..
Dammit they are clamping down on alternative news sites in China.![]()
