Can the world live without Spore?

The world cannot live without
-US : Intel, Microsoft, Apple, Hollywood etc
-Japan : good cars (honda, toyata), asian pop culture leader, digital cameras, plasma TV, semicon parts etc
-Taiwan : world computer manufacturer etc
-Korea : K-pop culture, LCD TV, value for money cars and electronics (hyundai, samsung)
-France : perfume, comestics and fashion
-Germany : Trains, Cars (Beemers etc)
-Finland : Nokia
-Switzerland : world mafia's bank, precision engineering
-Holland : Philips (biggest manufacturer of lightings, inventor of CD)
-UK : scientific research/inventions fom cambridge/oxford, etc??
-Italy : pasta, ice cream, pizza, fashion brands
-India : US cannot live wo it, cheap tech outsourcing
-China : cheap gaments and electronics products for the whole world
What can the world live wo from Spore???
When we find that, we will hit jackpot!!!
My suggestion: asian food.

-biotech
Other current possibilies:
-Hyflux : clean water for the emerging asian cities.
-Ossim : isqueeze for world's tired legs?? massage chair? ha
-creative : other than its old sound card, the world can live wo it. -
There are certain tell-tale signs that the world does not welcome our presence or help such as the following:-
(1) Malaysia's leaders' disdain of suppying water to us or to our subserving overtures in many areas.
(2) Indonesia's burning of our flags at the slightest negative comments from our leaders about them.
(3) Taiwanese leaders' calling of us as pisai.
(4) Cool Reaction of Chinese leaders' to our leaders' attempt to discredit them for the Souzhou investment fiasco.
There may be more such incidents when we set up more industrial parks in Middle-east or Russia as others cannot take our abrasive talent-brandishing talks and all the autocratic lecturing. -

I was trying to say, economically speaking,
is to find or create something that the world know us for.
Only then can we consider spore indispensible and successful.
I had suggested one : "Food"
Make/invent new Spore food to the world.
Spore is well-known in the region for its food. but not globally.
When the day comes that the west see Spore food as unique,
(eg as unique as japanese food),
then thats is 'one way' to gauge our success in the world.
Otherwise, Spore is always dispensible. And WE are dispensible.
There are other things.
I have other ideas as well, but not as direct as food. -
i dun see why not. but i think because creative got a headstart on the soundcard (Mr Sim pratically invented the damn thing) most computers use it. Thats about the only thing I can see where, if there was no singapore, the current development level might actually be a few years later than it is now

As far as I can recall , Mr Sim's creations were not without competition , Creative got its market by pricing and producing at cheaper prices than its competitors like Yamaha , and another sound card brands. Nowadays most soundcards can store its sampling sounds on chip in the card. However the software standards have improved by leaps and bounds.
Singapore have to remain its standard as a banking and finance hub for safe transactions for $$$$ activities. -
the world without us also wont die same with any other country and singapore is nto the only country which has minmal impact in fact only few countries have very high impact

well maybe Singapore can develop further on its Food & Beverages Industries like wad you say, so as to squeeze our country into the world map.
Laksa, Satay etc all started from Singapore. -
Frankly speaking , whenever I tell a foreigner who's from US or UK that i'm from Singapore, they would relate to Whipping and Death penalty .
The food they know here is probably the Rotan . Figures why our own system is not giving ourselves a good name. -

which is sporean-owned i think, cos the food are all sg food.

unless u guys are the center of the universe.. or everything else revloves around u .. the world wont miss it. Trust me. Unless u up ur Silicon or become the regions leading Internet Hub.. there is pretty much nothing that the world will miss and can continue to function without Spore.

Perhaps u shud learn that Dell, IBM and various Japanese brands PCs
and Laptops are made in Tawian.
Over 80 percent of the World's PC parts come from Taiwan!!!
Pehaps u shld learn that those AMD motherboards chipsets
are made by Via, a Taiwan company.
Perhaps u shud learn that Asus, Abit, MSI, Acer, BenQ etc made just abt
the whole worlds Best motherboards and laptops. -
