Brunei has a few hawk 100 and 200s.Originally posted by MinisterOfDefence:u are sure that they dun haf fighters?
wat i noe is that they haf veri gd air defence systems.
btw...i really belif in our forces
Their Air Defence is okok lar. They did have a large helicopter force to support yje army. Their neutrality made them think that Armed Force is not very importantOriginally posted by tripwire:Brunei has a few hawk 100 and 200s.
ANd their Air defense isnt really that great.
If they really have a few hawks, whats the use? Who do you think will win, China or Taiwan(helped by US with one aircraft carrier)Originally posted by tripwire:Brunei has a few hawk 100 and 200s.

???!!!. Easily detected by handphone wave??!! are you sure, where yo get this from?Originally posted by MinisterOfDefence:now that USA stealth fighters are considered obsolete bcoz they are easily detected by handphone waves.....mayb they will sell them....i hope singapore WILL buy them....
THe U.S made a mistake spending so much in development of Stealth Aerial Technology..... What a waste. If its Russia who found a counter to F117, its ok, but its CHINA!!!!!! CHINA sucks!!!! I just don't understand man.... WHY do they have to take back what they had lost last time??? TIBET, TAIWAN..... see how they treat the DALAI LAMA and Tibetians, 1940s, they force the Nationalist out and now, they claim that Taiwan is part of them!!! SHIT!!!! See how arrogant they are, so they think they are powerful, conducting exercises at that don't know what island. Actually, Taiwan is fighting a losing battle on the ground and sea, and maybe even the air as the air is going to be used to support ground and sea... i see this ssiiue as big bullies " DA CHI SIAO" in chinese. Anybody and enlighten me on this issue??Originally posted by MinisterOfDefence:but it is really amazing tt a $60 billion systems could be defeated by around $10 000 handphone technology. but wat abt stealth frigate? can it b detected easily.this is worrying as singapore has already ordered quite a number of stealth frigates?
nope... flying phones wont work either...Originally posted by Shotgun:As for the Stealth issue, it would not be easy using handphones to detect "stealthed" ships. Why it works against stealth aircraft is becos the planes are in the air, and the phones are on the ground. The waves therefore hit n rebound off the broad underside of a stealthy fighter or bomber. But whether it will work anot, is a different story.
Stealthed frigates, would be on the sea. And in order to catch it on its broadest side, the phone array would have to be in the air. Flying phones... hmmm... Probably a couple dumbass passengers on an over-loaded 747.
Difficult to maintain communication with submarines?? Even in today's modern submarine like the U.S Navy Sea Wolf Class attack sub and the Ohio class? BTW, is it possible to tell me if Singapore submarines go out to South China Sea or even the straits of Malaysia to do patrolling and training. Will the Malaysians be able to dectect it? Is the Challenger class subs equipped with GPS. I know that the MCV and LST is equipped with GPS.Originally posted by tripwire:nope... flying phones wont work either...
too much interference from the sea waves. which is why there is so much difficulty in maintaining communication with submarines.
Shotgun, can yo tell me what you meaN BY UNDERWATER ROCK CONCERT?????Originally posted by Shotgun:US Navy current agrees with the RSN Submarine's role as an "Under water rock concert."

oh. you mean RSN submarines is easily detectable ny sonars?Originally posted by Shotgun:Ever heard a rock band performing on board a submarine from another submarine's passive sonar?
