Automate end to end lah. The prison lie in bed, next morning his bed will will a remote control that sends him off to the execution hall and the same bed would hang him loh. ERP does not equal Road tax. I remember watching a movie (based on true story) where the executioner forgot to put a wet sponge on the convict's head before applying the electrodes there. Then when the power was turned on the guy kena burned to a black charred crisp.

Its the stuff whereby you remember that the chickens that you eat were carried by the conveyor belt to the slaughter machines . one by one they were drained of their blood.
Imagine your pet going thru the system , and you may see that as murder. -

There is NOTHING easy, or clean about killing another fellow human.
Only nature kills a person cleanly; eg, cardiac arrest.
Besides road accidents, all known execution techniques will create some degree of mess as the encumbent expires. In Lethal injection, some tended to soil themselves as all organs fails, so feces, urine, and regurgitation expells almost synchronized. In hanging, although the head is hooded over, the mess is inside the hood. Decapitation is by far the messiest, needless to say, blood spews in every direction including stomach contents. In the gas chamber, poisoning causes the person to convulse violently, and foam excessively from the mouth. In electrocution, the person's blood boils and bleed from every opening around the head, as a high charge of electricity is applied through his body. All, very messy and undignified way to go.
Sometimes, I think God gave us humans enough intelligence to think, but not enough to solve our problems just so He can sit back and watch us struggle with ourselves. Perhaps one mellenium to Him is one minute? -
