  Of course not. He wasnt in tat situation was he?? The local news only reported tat he just wanted to clear his bro's debt.

Singapore people borrow money from ah long already so scared revenge from ah long if they go to police that they rather endure the harressment and threats.   Ii will be better to tie the prisoner on the lightning conductor on a open ground and let heaven do the job. Less cost and manpower. Nobody will feel guilty about executing the prisoner.
