Good government comes from good people. And what do our MPs get ater leaving office? Cozy top-ranking jobs in public agencies and/ or directorships in private companies. How wrong has this policy become !!! Only the government just cannot see this major policy error. -
I think the problem lies with a growing system where the people are made to pay for their big, good and bad decisions, investments, salaries, bonuses (much of which are publicly undisclosed). Do I want that? No because their investments, salaries and losses are getting bigger than the returns and though I'm called a "shareholder" (actually a very small one), I get only pathetic goodies but I get to foot their pay and losses and they enjoy it (and never suffer losses for their blunders). In the long run, it's pretty clear who will sure to be well-off and who's not. I want a government that makes my money work hard for me and earn me a decent return. I don't want a government that makes me work hard to pay them and don't earn me good returns but losses.

3. Al Qaeda was founded, out of the well-intentioned supply of armaments and money to the mujahideen fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan
4. The first great Budget Deficit was born.
