Eight French police suspended over assault
I think those eight police officers deserve to be shot. It is very unbecoming of them to beat up a coloured person for the sake of it. They might as well be sent back to the Third Reich if a time machine becomes available.
PARIS : Eight French police officers have been suspended from duties pending the results of an investigation into an alleged assault on a young man in the Paris suburb of La Courneuve, the interior ministry said.
"There is evidence that two officers inflicted blows on the man in an illegal manner and that six others witnessed the incident," said a spokesman.
The assault, which took place on Monday, was filmed by a news crew from state-owned France 2 television channel, who have handed their footage to investigators, a police official said.
France 2 broadcast the pictures late Thursday.
"A medical statement shows the man has superficial bruises on his forehead and his feet," the interior ministry said.
Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy said late Thursday on television he would not permit any police excesses.
"I took the decision at seven o'clock this morning to disicpline the police officers," he said:
"I will not accept any excesses by forces of law and order."
A police official told AFP the injured man, aged 19, was one of a group of youths arrested Sunday for taking part in street violence in La Courneuve.
After their release on Monday, the group had returned to the police station to "taunt" officers and throw objects at the building, the official said.
Another police official said the man had insulted officers and lobbed bottles at the police station.
"He was arrested once more, for rebelling and causing damage, but managed to escape," said the official. Following a chase, police officers caught up with him -- at which point the alleged assault took place, the official said. - AFP /dt

Paris has so many origins from many refugees country all the way to korean and vietnam war and combodia. and so many beliefs and religions and race.
It is up to them themselves to dig out of the hell hole they believe they are in. they think by rioting, others will accept them. Wrong, many frech citizens of all races and religion will become more fearful and resentful to them.
same as everyone else living in this world except the really unfortunate that need help and refugee status for a better life.
