Why delete post - ministers returning extraordinary gains

  Why delete such a factual post with forumers contributing to a very reasonable discussions.
  
  What is your logic in deleting such post. Is it anti-government or anti-Singapore or is the reasoning in the post wrong in any way?

  Let me make a correction. I am not referring to our forum's moderator but am referring to a deletion of one of my post by moderator of Channel News Asia. Channel News Asia is supposed to be the region's best newscaster as they have advertised but look at their kiasu forum moderator so afraid to allow post critical of government policies.

  Perhaps the post was deleted because it was tasteless.
  You have a right to voice your opinion but not when its tasteless factoid.
  
  CNA has the right to maintain its high standards as the regional best newcaster.

  Mediacorp after all is not a private organization. Whenever Singapore says privatization, means still controlled by government in some ways. So, if you post anything against government, thread will be deleted.

  I think if you have too many gay issues that is progress because by talking about issues even gay issues we are making more progress. Why be concerned with gays and their issues. They are also humans except that by a freak of nature, there are less than the norm or mainstream.
  
  Nowadays, many ordinary people don't even comtemplate getting married because of so many problems with the marriage as an institution. Ideas of the past can indeed become obsolete fast.
  
  The ministers and the guys at CNA just have to learn how to be less paternalistic and pro-people and pro-change and pro-inclusiveness. The plain truth is the more a government wants to imagine ills of people they will have to come up with more laws and more enforcements. With more enforcements there will be more problems in tackling people with different views on problems and how they can be solved and at the end the government will keep putting off citizens including their previous supporters except the happy incumbents and their immediate beneficiaries.
