2 election issues only - citizens carrying high costs and...

There are only 2 election issues -
(1) are citizens carrying high costs
(2) are ministers paying themselves too high? -
For me, there is only 1 election issue.
Do I need to vote, or another walkover? -
there are way too many walkovers. what election is there to talk about?

By the way it looks, they can just do away with all this Election thingy - they can re-instate themselves and nobody in Singapore will or can do anything about it.
Might as well forget about voting and election wayang lah... -
I agree that there is no future for any body if the election is merely a facade. Abolishing it altogether makes sense for it may even make Singapore look original and world-class. Why not let them have it all their ways instead of getting ourselves hoodwinked with falsehoods and hypocrisy.

First of all, the elections is never a facade. Its a one man one vote system.
If it were a facade, why would the PAP spend so much time and energy trying to gain votes.
Secondly, even if it is a facade, does that means there is no future? Where is the logic in Robert's statements?
The real question whether we Singaporeans have a future is whether the country is well runned and obviously it is.
The strength of Singapore actually lies in the quick decision making process of the govt. If we have a too pluralistic parliament, this strength would not have been there.
Notice that Robert Teh loves to twist words and pictures and paint it as fatalistic as possible to give a distorted and deceptive view of Singapore and the govt.
If we listen only to him, we would all have emigrated. He is just like another liar Chee Soon Juan clown.
Well I tell you that we Singaporeans are not as silly as Robert Teh would expect us to be. We will not be fooled by his words.

I like this GRC idea. It gives the opposition a chance to eat 4 seast at once, not one at a time. It will also give the opposition more strength in administering their zones if they win. Overall it does benefit Singapore as resources are pooled together in running constituencies.
I like serialised ballots. It can prevent PAP from cheating.

All Singaporeans should vote, locals and overseas. But whats the point of having quitters vote when they are not citizens of Singapore? I do not know of any country that allows this. Please explain your logic.
