Support Opposition Parties

I presume that there might be an election coming soon.
We should seriously consider voting for the opposition parties.
It's not that PAP is really that bad. They have done well in some situations but badly in others. The main reason is that there isn't enough "alternate" voices in the parliment to speak up for the general public.
PAP, without strong opposition parties, has grown too proud and conceited for the good of S'pore.
Most of us just say there isn't enough good opposition parties around for them to consider. I think it is not entirely true. We should try attending the various meetings held by the opposition parties as well as check out their websites to know exactly what they are doing. There are really some good and serious candidates in opposition parties!
Over-throwing PAP is definitely not a good idea as they have very good experience in governing S'pore. But to have more people checking on the ruling party is what we desperately need!
Give them a chance so that we in turn will have a better future in S'pore. -

I'm sure KMT in Taiwan did not "allow" too. It's history is longer than the PAP. Its dominace was also greater as compared. But because a certain Mr. Chen Shui Bian did not give up and kept fighting for his rights(although I don't agree with what he did and what he is currently doing), he managed to over-throw KMT! I'm not even advocating over-throwing PAP. I just hope we have more opposition parties in the parliment. -

Do not have opposition party in the parliament/government just for the sake of having one. What's the point of having them in the government if they do not have the credientials and ability to improve/continue our lives?

at least those staying in opposition wards should vote for their oppostion MPs if they find them okay if not better than ruling party.

Whats the point of destroying your vote? It acheives nothing. Let us give our opposition a 2nd chance. The power lies with you whether opposition members go into parliament or not, NOT PAP! You are the real boss, so to speak.

And the reason why we don't have good opposition is, good people won't join the opposition, some crappy people do. And these crappy folks think they are very intelligent. They are not. And they think all Singaporeans think like them. Thats why they do badly in elections. -
