Some sweets for the election. I think basically many will think that way true or untrue.
I live in a EA flat. That time on prompting by garment for family ties to have parents & family living together. But regrettable such rebates were never offered to E-flats owners whom were viewed as "Rich" income earners. Much has change since 10 years ago when now it is not "Rich" income earner staying in E-flats. If you noticed those "Rich" are now getting smarter as they don't have large family just most 2-3 kids. They have profited from the sale of E-flats and moved to 5 rooms or even 4 rooms. And these cash rich ppl does not believe upgrading to EC or condo. They drives Merc E or S series. BMW 5 or 7 series & yet they are given such rebates compare to ppl with bigger family who are stuck with E-flats.
So why are garment still following blinding to these rules of rebates? It is not based on household income for fairer rebates? -

they are not setting aside 500 mill for upgrading of lifts and whatnot. i wouldnt be tempted even if they building an escalator at my doorstep.

Where is the promised upgrading for Potong Pasir residents who gave PAP the 45% vote they subtly demanded as a show of support?
Why do the ruling party belittle Chiam S T who made a lift landing request through parliment when he failed to get endorsement from HDB, then appear to execute this lift plan in other constituencies?
Why did PM Lee come out publicly in support of the 2nd fare hikes for public transportation despite assuring the people otherwise after the initial price increase?
Why were the Singapore Power vouchers not distributed through the relevant MPs at opposition wards but instead channelled through PAP representatives?
There is much the ruling party have promised since the last election, but failed to do. -
