What is your impression of Australia?

  A country that call us "barbric" and used underhand method to tranish us, what do you think of them. Hero or Zero? Do you think they are a big bully?

  australia is a very laid back place to stay in.....they even pay u even....life is so laid back...family-oriented
  
  if i'm not so crazy over the army...i would wanna live there...

  When I think Australia, the SPACE comes into my mind. Large expanse of terrains, desserts, jungles, long endless highways. And of course, their countless species of deadly snakes.
  
  There will be difficult people and varying opinions everywhere, but even with money in Singapore, it's hard to play with it.
  
  So apparently, shopping, and eating in Singapore is THE only thing, hence a great number of people (majority) have developed high cholestrol, high blood pressure from stressful work, and diabetes from rich food and NO TIME for exercise.

  Vast land, cosmopolitan, nearest western society, convenient for free n easy holiday, drive on the same side of the road as we do, ideal place to be away from crowd and do what you want to do.
  
  There are different kinds of ppl, nice guys, good guys, friendly guys, bad guys, bullies, racists....who you meet depend on where you go, and how you present yourself, and your luck. Surprised but no surprise, the asian communities are not the most friendly ppl there, except my relatives and friends. The local farmers turned out to be the nicest ppl around all the time. Purely my exerience.
  
  Can enjoy four seasons weather there but the weather don tell you the time of the year, everything is upside down. Never enjoy christmas there, hot christmas don suit me, in anyway.
  
  will continue to be one of favorite places for holidays, but no intention to become a citizen there, = will not retire there, medical bills for non citizens very high.

  True......But then again,Singapore is an "Extreme Hell" if u are poor.Dont expect any social welfare or anyone who is kind enough to spare u some money,becoz they cant even help themselves in the midst of our country's economy downturn.Plus our ministers only care for their own wallets,hohoho.......Sad Christmas!!!!

  Yep.I would rather have job security for me and my family when I am old, which is why, Down Under seems like a much better place to settle down.

  down under there is no social welfare for non citizens either.
  
  whether anyone will help you depends on how many friends you have. No money no friends then it is "extreme hell" wherever you are.
  
  One consolation, down under you don't have to worry about the severe cold in December, that should make your "Sad Christmas" a lot better!!!!
