General Election Fever! Volunteer Yourself. WP needs you!

  Dear All
  
  All of us should get ourselves into action and do something for yourself and do something for your nation.
  
  Get involved in the direction of this country. Take ownership.
  
  There are many things that need to be changed in this country. The way to change them would be to exact political accountablity on the ruling party.
  
  To hold the ruling party accountable, you will need opposition MPs, as many as possible.
  
  To get opposition MPs, you will have to vote and help canvass for votes.
  
  This is all quite tedious. A good deal of helping hands and strong hearts are needed.
  
  Volunteer yourself now to the Workers' Party of Singapore and help out in the coming General Elections.
  
  If you stay in Sembawang GRC, East Coast GRC or Aljunied GRC. You are wanted!
  
  If you stay anywhere else in the Singapore you are wanted too! You'll just have to be comfortable travelling distances.

  But pray tell Mr Chia, what are the various responsibilities and task expected of a volunteer. The website you gave list very few details. I would very much love to volunteer

  what's needed: Singapore Citizen, 21 years of age, a strong will and a patriotic heart.
  
  Possible appointments: Ground helpers, Polling Agents, Counting agents.
  
  Ground helpers will be around the candidates helping them with the campaigning. (you are gonna sweat)
  
  Polling agents will be sitting beside as the voters come in to register on polling day. Duty to watch electoral officers (appointed civil servants) and ensure that no attempt is made to influence, threaten or sway voters.
  Register protests accordingly. (you are gonna be bored)
  
  Counting agents watch and monitor the counting done by civil servants and challenge manner of counting and categorisation of ballots if need be. (you are gonna have a late night)
  
  Give some thought to it. Come see for yourself the electoral process and see for yourself how lopsided the strength of the competition is.
  
  The Workers' Party needs you. Your country needs you to take a stand.

  OK lah, we will attend their rallies, make up the crowd and see what they have to say this time. I hope its something new and it better make sense.

  Sembawang GRC - S$570 million
  
  This cannot be coincidental. Its no secret that WP has area committees in all these 3 areas and the groundwork has been done.

  I got good idea how to make people go to rallies, give free makan like kali png and 1 free drink can?
  
  mebbe PAP rallies will start to give free KFC 2 piece meal also.
  
  Mebbe start at noon goto PAP rally for free kali png lunch then afternoon goto WP rally for teabreak and free kali pok, then dinner back to PAP rally for free KFC

  PAPman influence is very strong, with pathetic opposition presence. Furthermore, BG Yeo is too popular in Aljunied.
