Nosiy neighbour, what should you do?

I have a neighbour who sings at top of his voice after eleven at night. He works shift, so he sings when he comes back from his works. I am surprise that no one complain about it. Chicken out??? The neighbourhood police is not able to help. Is there any other ways to stop him? Thanks.

have you talked to your neighbour?
go there with a cake or something.. especially now, during the christmas period... be nice and talk to him about it... -
being frank and straight-forward is best. Tell him straight but in a poliet tone lah...say that u need to sleep well. Hope he can lower his volume. By that, i doubt he will lower his volume, but rather off it.....

This is public issue. Lots of people might be facing it. What s the use of talking politics when you can't solve it. I have heard of reporting it to a community which deals with noisy neighbours. anyone knows about it? Thanks

Just report police without confronting him. The police will give him a friendly warning, and he wouldn't even know that you're the one who complained

'friendly warning' is not able to solve the issue. I am looking out for a community.which I do not know its name. to solve it. If anyone out there have dealed with this b4 and knows how to solve it, pls. let me know. Those who like to sarcast, pls keep the sarcasm to yourself bcos it WONT HELP.

Walk to his house and talk nicely to him about how you feel man.
If it doesn't work, you can record his singoing and call the police. -

mine transpired yrs ago..there was this family which seemed to like marbles..
wouldn't care a hoot if they played in the morning..
the prob is..
they played at night..
imagine urself snuggling comfortably under the covers in bed..
to be roused by the sheer sonance of the drops of glass objects onto tiles..

i called hdb yesterday about my neighbour's knocking.
they will speak with the a s s hole and revert to me.
frankly i doubt anything positive will come out of it. -
I have a suggestion. Bring a cake and beers over and make friends. He is more likely to be considerate after that. Don't be like Everit road.
