NKF should close down

1. My mother for contributing, making phone calls to donate
2. TV station for hosting sshow
3. TV stars for pulling at heartstrings
4. Police for giving fund raising permit
5. CPIB for not checking proactively
6. NCSS for not alerting the public
7. MOH for giving them 3 year Charity organisation status
8. Mrs Goh
9. Forums like this which were silent before SPH made noise.
10. PAP for not protecting the people
11. Opposition for not protecting the people
12. The Devil
13. The God of Fortune
14. All of us for being either ignorant or impotent
Yes-you and I for having no power to stop evil doers!
Now they should close down and be taken over by the govt, and rise again under new identity............so that we can all have closure for our own shortcomings.

Closed down also wont help.. They can as well set up a new charity organization with same conducts...What matters are the accounting system there.. not to be run by same people.. and the most important is to have continuous auditor checks on each every donated fund, charity shows... every month, every time.. not just NKF... Maybe there are still other case of misuse of charity funds.. only that we haven't known any other yet...

These had happened were due to our government have turned most Authorities into profit steering companies; making singapore a country into company instead of state. Thus, this has got influence to NKF by using the reserved fund to invest. Once the funds are allow to divert; these would lure some greedy bastards to cheat. WTF before they can clean up, they are asking for more $$$ coz the Fcuking reserve will not last them for X number or years. They are lots of people or charitable organisation who live by the days. all those who abuse public money should be taken to task, like TT Duai; those who approved of his conduct, in whatever way, should also be reprimanded, e,g. Mrs. GCT.
legal actions must be taken to retrieve the money squandered, including that from those companies who were paid by NKF but not provided services.
corrective actions must be implemented to ensure the balanced money, the reserve are spent wisely and correctly.
chastise the National Council of Social Servicesw, the Commissioner of Charities and the Health Ministry for failing as watchdogs.
the government should conduct a study to review its own in house watchdogs system, we cannot afford to have similar scandal in any government or government related bodies.
NKF should remain as it is to remind all citizens and the government how corporate governance in singapore can go wrong, how something we take pride in can turn into a shameful talk of the town.
In this, I have to agree with Salman that NKF should stay, reformed, corrected and continue to serve. It must show that when mistakes are made, the relevant authorites are prepared to face the realities and make good what were wrong. -

Health Minister has already called them to stop their pointing fingers... He has got irritated by it
And today's ZB made a comic strip on the Las Vagas thingy, if we want to move on and improve to prevent another similar issue to happen, be mature esp SPH, doing such comic strip is not going to help... Already Gerald Ee himself is trying his best to get things back to the correct way and they are doing this... Is it fair to the innocent party as in the kidney patients? -
