I was wondering why not
Charity Fund Raising be handled by a
SINGLE ORGANISATION, since we got so many such programmes in a year and they are organised annually. The fund collected will be distributed & controlled by this organisation, so that strict regulation and governance can be adhere to.
E.g.
Public --$--> Single Organisation
--distribute-- >> Charity 1 (NKF)
--distribute-- >> Charity 2 (Heart Foundation)
--distribute-- >> Charity 3 (Cancer Foundation)
.
.
.
Benefits:
======
- Segregate of roles and responsibilities between SINGLE ORGANISATION (i.e. fund raising, fund control & distribution/allocation, fund investment, etc) & CHARITY ORGANISATION (i.e. NKF -> Kidney Dialysis, Cancer Foundation -> deals with Cancer cure, prevention, etc)
- The SINGLE ORGANISATION can rise awareness to the regulator/authority if suspect sudden demand of fund from a particular charity organisation without relevant reason (maybe based on past demand or record, etc).
- CHARITY ORGANISATION will not have the RIGHTS to collect any donation/fund. All donations or fund goes thru' the SINGLE ORGANISATION. This means that CHARITY ORGANISATION will not turn into a BUSINESS ENTITY and concentrate on their main roles and responsibilities.

Is it good??
