I already answered you ass-hole! You wake up, go back and read it!Originally posted by pikamaster:Erpz, you ahven't answered my qn at all. I asked you what is defined as a "violent demonstration"?
I fully agree with you.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:There's no need to use live bullets. There are high-tech devices that will paralyse a man, cause them to slip and wriggle like fish on the ground, CS gas and pepper spray that will make the strongest guy weep and gas vortex devices that will knock out a charging mob. Test out the latest non-lethal weapon on them...it's a good occasion for beta testing...
Unfortunately I don't think the Chinese givernment had those equipment at the time...If the unruly Korean demonstrators do come, let's show them how it is done the high tech way...Originally posted by Salman:I fully agree with you.
It was clearly wrong for the Chinese govt to use loive bullets and tanks.
Ehh... ? in a matter of fact, they don't at that time. The police initially were empty handed in the square, They just sat at the entrance of the building, and formed lines by crossing elbows to prevent the demostrators from growing thousands more, I have pics to show, (after I have my Dinner).Originally posted by Salman:What rubbish! What do you mean they don't have tear gas, rubber bullets, shields and truncheons!
Its a matter of choice! In fact they are still firing at crowds today.
I repeat, there were no death reported in the square itself, and the students went home peacefully, after the PLA surrounded them. Stop listening to Western Propaganda bias reporting. No PLA soldiers fire into the student crowd.. it's all BS. The witness who told that was not even there, He was arrested afew hours before the PLA actually arrived.Originally posted by Salman:Not true, they do have all those crowd control equipment, they just chose not to use them.
How do you know ??? Everyone knows that china lacks those equipments except you... brainwashed @$^#&^
The protest was non violent until the army started firing on the people. You don't see the HK or South Korean police firing on protestors do you?

The massacres started on the square itself.
The few hundred people killed was along the streets of the PLA advance route, they are violent and that's where the "man infront of the Tank" incident occurred, not at the Square.

Yes, they definately have truncheons, tear gas and NO, they do not have riot sheilds then. A reminder - You said they did not use them... which is not true. Anyway, I said lack...

I have spoken to many Beijing residents myself, one even lived beside the square, you can't fool anyone w your stupid lies!
The massacres started on the square itself.I have read the diaries of the protesters... you are a load of BS. The tianamen incident occured and ended on the same day. The Tank in question was travelling in a line formation along chang'an boulevard not at the square. The western media delibrately used close-up shot to portray an image that it occured at the square, and null the fact that the man climbed up the tank to shake the drivers hand. It was from a video Taken from the 5th of june, the next day...
The man in front of the tank happened only 3 days after the massacre started.
Show me the pictures please, and I will show you mine.Blood stain on Tainamen square.BBC account
Yep, spoke to them. My friend who lived near the square told me that soldiers were rampantly shooting and rounds went through her window.
Spoke to Beijing Residence ??? Nice try.. They will tell you that they didn't know the massacre at the Square occurred, with the Have meh ??? Shocked and was shocked when they read the news the nest day... That's what most of the residence responed then... BBC respondence shows the same thing...
