If whoever take over Sharon is going to be like the Iranian president, we will see a war in 2006.

I called up and was so shocked to get a male voice.. I tot Ariel is a girl...

Same case.. Tot its a girl but turned out to be a guy...

The truth is, national leaders don't make such speeches unnecessarily.
The truth also is, there was no need for him to make such statements to please fanatics. He made those statements because that is exactly what he believes. -

I saw CNN's Christian Amanpour's personal interview with the Iranian president about 2 months back. The only way we know about how he thinks and what kind of person he is, we get from the media. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is an inexperienced leader and doubly hopeless at international relations.
The power of a nuke is never wielded so lightly as international repercussions will come so hard and fast he will truly need 'god's' help to stay alive.
All his postering and speeches merely appeals to the fanatical side of his people and blatantly ignore the real needs his country.
Expect his bite to be little more than his bark.
It would be indeed a loss if Ariel Sharon departed the world. Along with Yitzak Rabin, he was the only other israeli daring enough to make real concessions to the Palestinians for peace.
His bold but calculated withdrawal from the gaza strip automatically threw the ball into Mammoud Abbas's court, implying that he was willing to do what was necessary to create peace, ultimately challenging Abbas to do the same.
Abbas on the other hand, has not even managed to keep his elections in order. -
