there is one thing I know about Chiam at 70 years old, he is not blind and not senile.Originally posted by Salman:I don't mind if Chiam is willing to pass the baton to me, anyone for that matter.
Can you convince him to step aside?
Originally posted by PRP:Though he is 70yrs old, I believe when it is time to step down, he will vanish from the news but remain in our hearts. And maybe as an advisor to his successor and not a Mentor Advisor to his successor
Chaim See Tong said he had shown results. What kind of results has he shown?I think his performance is VERY ordinary. He should give way to new blood in Potong Pair since he is 70 years old.If he doesn't do so,Potong Pasir constituents should vote in a new guy from PAP.Of course, this is just my opinion. The constituents of Potong Pasir can decide themselves.
Opps, he would need to be Senior Advisor 1st before next promotion of Mentor Advisor :pOriginally posted by wheelie:Though he is 70yrs old, I believe when it is time to step down, he will vanish from the news but remain in our hearts. Don't get fined in PP?Don't joke!Originally posted by anonymouscoward:Do you live in Potong Pasir or ever been there frequently? You have no idea what nonsense you are spouting.
Chaim See Tong has done an excellent job in Potong Pasir in the resident's context. Here's a few example...
1) He spends his own money to rectify public defects when the government refuse to give him money to do so
2) He visit every single funeral and offer his condonlence in his constituency
3) He build facitilities that touches the heart of the residents.. (i.e. benches for the elderly, brick well for burning incense etc...)
4) You don't get fined for carpark in Potong Pasir !!
What has any PAP done to touch the heart of the people?? Upgrading? They only cause more inconvenience.
Someone must go test that myth. Plausible or debunked?Originally posted by PRP:Don't get fined in PP?Don't joke!
May not be true anymore after the last postingOriginally posted by PRP:Car park attendants are from HDB,so ......
So the attendants live in the potong pasir vincinity?Originally posted by PRP:Car park attendants are from HDB,so ......
That means Chiam has not been running the place well.Originally posted by anonymouscoward:May not be true anymore after the last postingbut... my wife's parents stayed in Potong Pasir for the last 30+ years. We visit them every other day and I've NOT ONCE been fined for not placing carpark coupons. Even overnight parking.. 3 Cheers for Chiam!!!
Money collect from the fines does not go to Potong Pasir. Even if it does, the opposition do not get to use it.Originally posted by Salman:That means Chiam has not been running the place well.
