Singaporeans want George Yeo as Prime Minister.

Do you not think George Yeo would make a better Prime Minister in Singapore than our current PM Lee Hsien Long (LHL)???...Start of with George Yeo's credentials definately stand out compared to LHL...George Yeo's degree in Engineering from Cambridge graduating with a Double First together with an MBA from Harward graduating with a distinction is way ahead than our current PM's education in cambridge.....George Yeo definately leads in the education department compared to LHL....George Yeo also reflects sincerity and charisma eveerytime he speaks and people respect whatever he says...LHL on the other hands comes across as a arrogant, cold hearted and more of a wayang just like Papa Harry....There is no reason why George Yeo can't be the Prime Minister of Singapore...he's also very much experienced, smart and presentable and seemed to have handled various portfolios within the garmen....I think if there was a vote throughout the entire singapore population on the 2 candidates we can safely believe that George Yeo would win hands downs with a majority.....My theory is that the cabinet to afraid to speak their minds and vote for anyone else besides Lee Hsien Loong for the position of Prime Minister. Think about it...would you want to risk your huge salary by going against Papa and son?? Many people believe there is an 'LKY family overload' in the garmen....I for one would vote for the PAP if LKY and LHL was not in the picture and instead the country is lead by people like George Yeo and vivian balakrishnan who are much more popular with the population.....

George Yeo has raised some issues within the cabinet about inequity of charging market-value land costs for essential government services.
This shows that he is different from the rest of the ministers who simply keep quiet about the high cost policies of LKY and GCT. He knows where it hurts the people most - the high cost burden created by a highly commercialized over-pragmatic government who measures success as equal to ability to get monies and more monies from the citizens.
He needs to show that he is also pro-people and pro-business. If despite all the credentials he has no idea how to upgrade the economic competitiveness all will at the end be in vain.
Singapore needs a strong technologically oriented leader to upgrade its moribund economy. -
George Yeo is no good. He's inherently no good cos he's a schorlar. Schorlars are bookish and coddled in the army/bureaucracy and groom easy and therefore do not have to go thru the rigours of the real world and won't know real problem. Whether true or not, that is the understanding of the people who are jealous of schorlars.
Even if such perception of schorlars are true, they will however still better off than most of those govt critics who don't even make any sense at all. -
